Enquired for both of the Smith St properties over the last 2 months and no one has got back to me. I gave some time as I understand working from home is difficult however I was informed by Carol or Cheryl (sorry couldn’t quite catch the lady’s name) that I would get a call to view however haven’t heard anything. I’ve been trying to find a place closer to my parents as they are very unwell so this is disappointing.

Sent two msgs to them via Rightmove and nothing, checked a week later the flat I was after was still posted up so msged the company directly on their own website and still nothing. 4 weeks later flats still up on Rightmove and nothing back from them bit of a joke but if I was a landlord I would be raging a wee month no money but still having to pay these clowns? If I was LL I would take my business else where and as a renter I am doing just that.

Tim Debbie and the team have managed my properties for many years. They have always been professional, knowledgeable, especially Tim when it comes to contracts and legal matters, and extremely helpful. I have directed several friends who were looking for rental properties to keylets and all have reported back a positive, helpful experience. I cannot fault anyone on the team, their attentiveness and quick responses show nothing but professionalism. I have rented a property from key-Lets for more than 2 years. The initial renting process was smooth and professional, particularly the review of premises status, including additional items identified by me. At contract closure all was done rapidly, without ant bureaucratic fuss.All in all a pleasant experience highly recommendable.

I have called the office directly on a number of occasions with regards to a property I was interested in. I believe Tim the owner spoke to me on the first occasion and informed me I would get a call as he was organising viewings, nothing came of it. I then spoke with Debbie who wasn’t very helpful at all, I’d have been as well speaking with a dead dodo, it probably would have made more sense and spoke proper English! I have since spoke with a friend who has a property through Key-Let’s and if it wasn’t for the time of year, she would be out. She mentioned she has reported issues over the last 6 months and hasn’t heard back! I think it’s awful service considering these people are responsible for their landlords properties! Also, I’ve noticed staff turnover is high as I’ve spoke to a number of staff over the last 3/4 months, now when I call I have been informed they have left, that speaks for itself. EDIT: As you can see by their responses to bad reviews, they always have an excuse for everything, even down to applying this is a fake review .. hmm, I feel someone knows they have been caught out and have ran out of excuses for their awful service.

Tim was extremely helpful, pointed me in the right direction and gave great advice on how to navigate the external factors that were blocking her suitability as a tenant. Great interest in a flat I seen In Cathcart st sent numerous emails to the company to show my keen interest in the property gave up after about 10 msgs to register My interest since found out my sons pal had asked for a viewing and they contacted her for a viewing right away !! Totally disheartening had my heart set on it these people are a total sham will stay clear of in the future hopefully will not need to as offered a great flat by another company around the corner from where I wanted if I could swear I would 😡

Honestly shocked at how unprofessional this company has been. They have loads of listings on line and (the several I was following) no one ever got back to me on interest requests. My partner and I both emailed and called separately and no one ever got back to us. I understand Corona times but every other company was responding and telling us the procedures. There was one house we were very interested in and ended up finding the address online and leaving a note in the mailbox to see if the owners would contact us - which they did. I had to hunt down the rep and he only replied to me once. Then nothing. I read previous reviews and it looks like we ended up dodging a bullet with this company. If you are looking for urgency and professionalism, on either the home owner or renter side - I would avoid this place completely.

The staff at Key let’s were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. The referencing process was well organised and easy to understand, making the whole moving in process a happy and stress free experience.

A very disjointed business, unable to answer basic questions over the phone. 5 emails over 4 months gone unanswered all to get a confirmed meter reading (to meet their outgoing conditions). Then they make you wait 6 weeks after requesting your deposit back, don't challenge it with the third party and leave you waiting the full duration for the funds.This is hardly ideal when moving to another property, all the while being held back by their stipulations that they seem happy to caveat on when it suits them. It may be wise to inform tenants of staff leaving the business so they can in fact deal with an employed member of the team.

I DONT recommend this company to anyone. Very unprofessional approach and I felt stigmatized, judged and discriminated against due to my personal circumstances. Stay clear as also very underhand. I would give a zero star if I could.

Keylets has managed my property in Ayr for ten years. Moving internationally is not easy. With Key-Lets my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly even if those questions required them to make international calls. After working with this company I simply chose a home they offered, over others I'd managed to find myself; in large part, because doing so would allow me to continue counting on them to work on my behalf to sort out confusing differences and legal matters related to moving countries.Contracts were gone over, and a detailed inventory and inspection report was shared with me. After I'd moved into my new home they sent a professional in to check all electric and safety issues and install new alarms. They'd placed basic groceries (and flowers) in the home to help me settle my first night. Over the next week they both dropped by and called to make sure all was well.And now, when their part in the arrangement is over they continue to offer support and information that I may need.I am happy and grateful for the quality of professional service and the lovely kindness I've experienced with this company.Key-Lets... thank you!
